Montmartre viewpoints
Montmartre does not offer a single view of Paris. The forecourt opens a broad horizon, rue de l’Abreuvoir frames the basilica and other openings reveal roofs, slopes or local detail. This guide recommends neither private rooftops nor dangerous edges. It separates freely accessible spaces from access subject to hours, security checks or tickets.
